Miss Hazel Foxworth story

One cold day in the forest

2/17/20261 min read

Miss Hazel Foxworth lived in a small cottage at the edge of the winter forest, where the snow crunched softly underfoot and the kettle was always singing on the stove. Every morning she put on her blue beret, wrapped herself in her knitted shawl, and went out for a walk to make sure the world was still in its proper place.
Hazel believed that good manners could warm even the coldest day. She greeted the trees, left crumbs for the birds, and wrote little thoughts in a notebook hidden in the pocket of her skirt. It was said that if you were sad and happened to meet her, she would offer you tea and tell you a story that would help you remember something beautiful.
And when the lights in the forest went out in the evening, Miss Hazel Foxworth would sit by the window and knit — not just scarves, but coziness for the day to come.
